Fast setting – grout after 4 hours
Suitable for early age concrete – tile sooner over concrete (after 7 days) and screeds/renders (after 16 hours)
High yield – 15kg covers 8 sq. metres on walls, and 6 sq. metres on floors
ARDEX X56 is a highly flexible tile adhesive that is also fast setting. This makes ARDEX X 56 suitable for tiling directly to timber and over heated slabs.
Tile Types:
Ceramic, fully vitrified, porcelain, mosaics, natural stone (excluding moisture sensitive)
Substrates:
Internal timber (particleboard, plywood) (priming required with ARDEX Optima or ARDEX P 82) with the exception of unbonded timber. Contact ARDEX for oil rich timbers
Cement render/screeds, concrete, aerated concrete
Fibre-cement sheet, plasterboard, compressed fibre-cement sheet
Existing ceramic tiles (where glaze is removed)
ARDEX undertile liquid applied waterproofing membranes
